Lite is enough to verify the core loop. Once the host fit is clear, Extended becomes a speed upgrade for reharmonization, generated note material, and deeper harmonic editing.
Start with Lite, build a short progression, drag the MIDI into your session, and decide from that first loop whether the timeline-based harmony workflow is useful in your DAW.
