Chord Dock Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern the use of Chord Dock, including its Lite, Extended, Performance, and Full Bundle editions, and related services (collectively, the “Product”) provided by Hayato Nakamura, trading as k2get (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using the Product, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope

These Terms apply to all matters between you and us relating to the Product. Product descriptions, help pages, and FAQs published on this website form part of these Terms.

2. System requirements

Supported operating systems, DAWs, and other requirements are described on this website. You are responsible for preparing a suitable environment. Where a Lite or trial edition is available, please test compatibility before purchasing whenever reasonably possible.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Product. Unless the applicable sales page states otherwise, a paid license may be used by the same user on up to two computers. You acquire a right to use the Product, not ownership of the software itself.

5. Price, payment, and refunds

Prices are those displayed on this website or the applicable checkout page. Payment is made using the payment methods we specify. For transactions processed through Stripe Managed Payments, Sold through Link, LLC (“Link”) acts as Merchant of Record and handles payment processing, transaction support, refunds, and disputes.

Because the Product is digital content, refunds or cancellations are generally not offered under our independent seller policy after checkout is completed. However, purchases made through Managed Payments are also subject to the Link Consumer Terms, the Sold through Link refund policy, and mandatory laws applicable in your location. Link may issue a refund within 60 days of purchase under its policy or applicable law without our separate approval. Where our policy is more restrictive, Link’s policy controls to the extent of the conflict.

We may separately provide a refund, replacement, or other remedy for issues such as a missing license delivery, an obvious duplicate payment, or a material failure caused by us.

Compatibility problems specific to your OS, DAW, plug-in environment, or security software are generally outside our independent refund policy where a Lite edition reasonably allowed pre-purchase testing. This does not limit your mandatory legal rights or Link’s refund decision.

6. Updates and support

We may provide updates or bug fixes but do not guarantee that any update will be provided. Support is available through the contact form or email address shown on this website. Response times are not guaranteed.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the Product will meet a particular purpose or be uninterrupted or error-free. Except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of data. Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for the applicable Product, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms when reasonably necessary and will publish important changes on this website. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over disputes relating to the Product, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
